PIRATES now has an update.

http://www.ngup.net/view.php?file=4927 _Ship%20Wars

Islands have become walkable. At least, at the alpha stage anyway.

WASD to move, Mouse to shoot (no really purpose yet then to look pretty), and space to dock on the island. Forgive the ugliness ATM.

I'm really happy about this game and how it's coming along. If you've played any of my other games you'll see I didn't really put much effort or gameplay into my other projects. They were kind of generic crap, maybe other then a few of them (Wiggi Rush, Gradium, Prisa maybe). But I'm going to polish this game good and make it something I can actually be proud of making. Same thing with NINJA's, except I really can't work much on that due to not having a server to host the VAST and EXPANSIVE XML files on :P

If anyone feels like telling me a good way to store tile level information that doesn't include arrays, please do so.

I'm working vigorously on two full length games. One about pirates, the other one about ninjas. I thought it would be kind of cool to release both games shortly after the other, so I'm going to work on them simultaneously, although Ninjas is going to take a little bit more to finish then Pirates.

Pirates - 15% complete
Ninjas - 5% complete.

Pirates and Ninjas aren't the final names.

It's close to done.

There is no preloader so it's going to be screwy at first.

Controls are WASD, mouse, and Q+E to shoot only one side of the cannons.

I'm making a game about pirates. This is really just a technical demo of how the sailing aspect of the game will work. There are 25 sectors of water, which make up a circular 5x5 world. I don't have much to show other then this at the moment, but the back system of the whole game is huge, and I have much more in store.

That's all.

I doubt anyone is going to be reading this but I'll post anyway.

Today, my new game, Wiggi Rush, is coming out. Wiggi Rush uses a platforming engine that relys only on one movie clip to detect ground. I call the engine Acrobatics. I'm going to release the engine open source later for a level designing contest I may hold. I'm going to add a tile based level maker and other things with the engine for people to design levels with.

Other then that, I'll get to work on making my user page less generic later.
