I'm 17, not 12. I don't want my name to suggest that I'm a part of the massive amounts of Zelda fans who name themselves after the characters :/ I don't want my name to suggest anything really, I just want it to be unique. I'm tired of people calling me Shiek.

A shiek isn't just the name of the LoZ character. So you can always keep it as skeik, I think that is best.
Make a new and unique name, like mine.
When I was young I made my first email account.. for some reason I thought "nintendogood" was a great name, now I'm just plain embarrassed to tell people my email address...
You're name has always been skeik-sprite, I don't think you should change it. Personally I've come to associate the name with you in general, I don't even know what a sheik is. If anything change it to skeik the face raper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOMING!!!!!!!!!!

I have similar issues, my username quit being funny when I hit puberty but I don't know what to change it to.
I guess you could still keep it and use your real name wherever you can, that's what I do.
